01. Where is your company located?

  Our main office is located on Wilmer Rd. in Perth Road, Ontario.


02. Where do you build your homes?

  Our homes are located on Foley Mountain near Westport, part of the Leeds and Grenville Township.


03. Why should I hire you?

  We build beautiful, high-quality homes in a desirable location. We are licensed through the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) and every home includes full Tarion warranty protection from structural defects. The owner of High Country Homes is also its main contractor, ensuring on-site supervision and the highest quality standards applied and verified.


04. Are you a licensed contractor?

  Yes, High Country Homes is a fully licensed contractor, credentialed via the HCRA (Home Construction Regulatory Authority of Ontario) and Tarion Warranty Protection. All sub-contractors are qualified licensed operators in their respective fields. We are also qualified suppliers of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) services.


05. Will I save money building with you?

  Over time, yes. We research, identify and use only high-quality, high-value products and materials in the construction of your new home.


06. What type of home locations do you offer: city, country, suburban?

  We build beautiful ranch and country styled homes on scenic Foley Mountain near the town of Westport, Ontario — an historical village on the big Rideau.


07. What is the average price or price-range of your homes?

  Home prices vary according to client requirements. Our most recent project, featured on our Home page, listed for $849,000 in 2022.


08. What is the average square footage of your homes?

  Our homes provide between 1,600 and 1,800 square feet of very comfortable, beautifully appointed living space.


09. Do you sell lots?

  Not directly, but we’d be happy to help you secure a suitable property if you need assistance.


10. How big are the available lots?

  The lots we build on are just over 2 acres in size.

12. What kind of community are we talking about?

The larger community of Perth is just 25 minutes away.

 


13. What about local stores, schools and other services?

  All the community and commercial services you need are close by. Just 5 minutes to the Village of Westport with over 80 shops, stores, grocers, accommodations, community offices and local suppliers. The community high-school is located in nearby Elgin, an easy 20 minutes by school bus.

14. How long will it take to build my new home?

  Depending on the time of year, your new home will be ready in 4 to 6 months.


15. What kind of references can you provide?

  Our “Home Construction Regulatory Authority” (HCRA) license is available for viewing and “Tarion Home Warranty” can be contacted to ensure our registration.


16. Can I speak with some of your customers?

  Yes, if our previous customers agree, we would be happy to help you contact them.
